ABOUT ROYALTY ACADEMY
Greetings Families,
My name is Donielle Davis, Founder and Director of Royalty Academy: A Virtual Homeschool Co-Op. I am a U.S. Navy veteran, educator, curriculum developer, instructional designer, and passionate advocate for homeschooling families.
After serving in the military, I pursued my passion for education, creativity, and child development. As both an educator and parent, I recognized the need for learning experiences that were engaging, hands-on, personalized, and centered around each child's unique strengths and interests.
When I began homeschooling my own children in 2015, I immersed myself in research-based instructional practices, incorporating hands-on learning, themed units, educational field trips, and student-led exploration into our daily routine. The results were remarkable. My son began reading and writing at an early age and entered kindergarten performing well above grade level. More importantly, I witnessed firsthand how meaningful learning experiences can build confidence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.
My educational journey has continued alongside my work with homeschooling families. I earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Western Governors University and a Master of Arts in Educational Technology from Louisiana State University. I also completed professional studies through the Harvard Graduate School of Education, focusing on the Science of Early Learning and child development. Today, I am pursuing a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Instructional Technology at Texas Tech University, where my research focuses on improving school readiness and literacy outcomes for preschool children learning in home-based environments.
Over the years, Royalty Academy has evolved from a small homeschooling initiative into a growing educational community. Through our programs, we have developed educational resources, curriculum materials, enrichment experiences, field trip programs, literacy initiatives, and parent support services designed to help families create engaging learning environments at home.
At Royalty Academy, we believe education should be immersive, meaningful, and accessible. Our mission is to empower homeschooling families through high-quality educational support, live instruction, educational materials, themed learning experiences, and strong parent partnerships. We strive to cultivate curiosity, creativity, confidence, and academic growth while helping every child discover their potential and develop a lifelong love of learning.
As we continue to grow, our vision remains the same: to support families, inspire young learners, and create educational experiences that leave the next generation better prepared for the future than we found them.

Our Approach
At Royalty Academy, we combine the flexibility of homeschooling with the support of a collaborative learning community. Our approach blends live instruction, hands-on learning, educational technology, themed learning experiences, virtual and in-person field trips, creative expression, and independent exploration to create meaningful learning opportunities for every student.
We believe children learn best when they are actively engaged in the learning process. Through immersive themed units, project-based activities, educational materials, and interactive virtual classrooms, students are encouraged to explore, create, discover, and develop confidence in their abilities.
Technology serves as a bridge that connects families to educators, resources, and learning experiences beyond the traditional classroom.
Our virtual platform provides access to live classes, instructional videos, printables, educational resources, and ongoing parent support, allowing learning to continue anytime and anywhere. By combining research-based instructional practices with creativity, community, and innovation, Royalty Academy creates an engaging educational experience that nurtures curiosity, academic growth, and a lifelong love of learning.
Our History
Founded in 2015, Royalty Academy began with just three students learning around a living room table. What started as a family's commitment to providing a personalized, hands-on education has grown into a thriving educational community serving families across the nation.
Over the years, we have expanded our programs, resources, and learning opportunities to support students at various stages of their educational journey. Through innovative curriculum, immersive learning experiences, educational field trips, and strong parent partnerships, Royalty Academy continues to empower families to take an active role in their children's education.
